something old... something new :)

The vending machine show is tonight and I figured I might as well submit a couple of things. These are my submissions! Hopefully someone finds them amusing enough to buy them...
Bringing back the old... I did this piece while completing my AP portfolio my Senior year of high school. It is my Eskimo Child.
Sunday afternoon musings. Inspired by the rising moon on Saturday night. I love Southern Utah and the unique shapes you can find down there... hence the stylized rocks silhouettes.

Hunger Banquet Entry

So... I was convinced  by a friend to help him create an entry for the hunger banquet art contest. The theme was peace by piece. We wanted to use Reese's pieces in it. So... basically the idea was that the hands (or the wealthy, everyday people like us.) are sharing the Reese's pieces (food) as the fingers are pulled apart by our individual efforts (or the ropes). The different hands represent the different "hungry" people around the world.

me?

If you can't tell... it's supposed to be me. We had to do the dreaded self portrait assignment for my figure drawing class last semester... It was an adventure.

BAUHAUS :)

This project was for my typography class. We had to choose a font and create a poster displaying the different characters and giving a little background on the history of the font.

Your keen sense of humor...

Another project for VAILL210. Our teacher gave us fortune cookie fortunes to illustrate. Mine was... "Your keen sense of humor will make you many good friends." It's a little abstract... but slightly humorous?

Travel Poster...

So for my intermediate computer applications illustration class we joined with a graphic design class to create travel posters. The graphic design student chose the place and designed the the typography part of the poster. I designed and created the illustration.
